if i knew what my next computer would be, I'd jump on this deal for sure. As it is, I don't want to take the "one of each" approach with AC and have to sell what I don't need in a year's time. great deal, though.

Picked up one with the earlier mention for a MBP nearing the 1 year mark. I always wait to the end of the first year to add AC, just in case I decide to sell the computer off or spill my rum-and-coke on the keyboard. (I've never used the telephone support anyway. Only use it for repairs.)

I still laughed about the Applecare 'box' I bought at a CompUSA for $10 because it was the 'old version'. It applied just fine to my wife's iBook SE. And we used it ! Got a new battery..
