Nope, it is older. Didn't get Applecare. No AppleStore near here so I won't be bothering with that.

I took it apart and found that the force touch cable was cut by broken glass. The watch did work though. I can get an iCloud locked phone to take the screen and force cable from for around $100, but then I am taking a risk on it coming apart smoothly. I'll probably just dump this one on ebay for parts and pick up a used one somewhere.

I'm surprised it broke. I once had my foot run over by a car and was surprised how little pressure was on it. Sad
