Meh. Not impressed with the first single. Just not my taste.

As a Tay-Ophile I'd have to say it's alright. It's below her standard. Compare it with something random from 1989 such as "Out of the Woods" which is many singles deep and is still a great song.

Not a fan, not of this song, nor since she went pop-diva. I liked her in her country days, those were enjoyable, and I'm not really a country fan. Now I don't find her any different than Wrecking Ball Miley Cyrus (another country gone pop artist), Katy Perry, Christine Aguilera, Britney Spears, and so on. They are pumping out pretty much the same over-produced manufactured music. :barf:

We'll probably never hear the earlier style of music from Taylor Swift ever again, seeing that she just stated in this song that the old Taylor Swift is dead. Is it really worth going down the same path as Miley Cyrus and losing your fan base? At least Miley now is changing and maturing, and her fan base is appreciating it. It will be interesting to see if Miley will be successful in regaining her fans, or will her bad-girl era have permanently ruined it for her. It will also be interesting to see what happens with Taylor Swift's fans.
