Will Apple supplant SIRI Satellite radio?
#1
I have been watching Satellite radio stock and this is the first time I have seen this take that APPlel could be a threat to Satellite radio. Makes sense. I think we all tend to play our iPOD with whatever it holds we enjoy rather than the radio albeit commercial or satellite.

What do you think?

Unless the iPod starts carrying gamefeeds, there will be a niche for satellite radio. I have Sirius and I probably listen to the sports talk and game broadcasts more than I do music or other talk/entertainment stations. When I want music, I do listen to my iPod. Very rarely do I turn on broadcast radio nowadays. Broadcast radio, as well, will also have a place at the table since a great many people won't spend the bucks for either an iPod or satellite.

If you're looking at it purely from an investment standpoint, Sirius and XM will never match Apple IMHO. Apple is currently a lot more diversified than either one. But I do think that satellite will have a good chance of catching up to broadcast communications holdings.
