HILARIOUS!!
For those that don't want to click, We'll give Jeff Sessions our legal pot when he pries it from our warm, extremely interesting to look at hands. BTW, someone on twitter noticed that the only state that has legal pot AND that voted for Trump is AK. This could just be more score settling.

Whoa. One tweet down:
Since legalization, marijuana has generated $617,767,334 in [CO state] tax revenue. Goin' green!

So instead of utilizing this easy method of tax generation, the GOP will cut social security and medicare.
Nice.

Great tweet!
Yes, weed is bringing in as much as liquor now to WA state, in terms of excise taxes, which are 38% of retail sales. Going at close to $300M a year in revenue for the state . This is how that money gets spent: Half that intake in fiscal 2015, 2016, and 2017 went to the Basic Health Plan Trust Account. That account is described by the Office of Financial Management as providing “necessary basic health care services to working persons and others who lack coverage, at a cost…that does not create a barrier to…utilization …” According to the Liquor and Cannabis Board’s June 2016 report, the next largest share in fiscal 2017 was to go to the General Fund (31 percent). It was followed by the Department of Social and Health Services for curbing substance abuse (10.7 percent). The remainder was to be directed to community health centers, public education, research and drop-out prevention. https://www.tre.wa.gov/portfolio-item/wa...nd-health/ I don't think it's political score-settling - Trump personally doesn't seem to care about pot. Sessions has a thing against it, personally. Racist white law enforcement people and politicians have used pot arrests to target minorities for a long time. The criminalization of this drug has racist origins. Sessions and Trump need to worry about the opioid epidemic, which is taking so many lives. But not in states with legal weed.

Facts will rule the day in a court of law. Unless it's presided over by a judge appointed by this administration...
