Can you have them send you one from their website? The options improve slightly there -

Canon:
A530
A540
A630
SD600
SD630

Olympus:
Stylus 500
Stylus 600
Stylus 710
Stylus 740

Sony:
S500
W70
T10

Kodak:
C530
C533
V570
C643
C743
C875
R927

HP:
M425
R725

Plus a variety of larger models. How they selected those models, I'll never know. Do some homework on those listed above, go in and tell the bastard what you want off the list above, and don't leave until it's ordered.

This is why I pay with Amex. They offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Don't like something and the store wont take it back? Get your money back.

Some of you may recall me talking about the bad service I've gotten at a particular Westin hotel over the past five years. I finally disputed a charge the last time they tried to pull a fast one. That was a couple months ago. I was there this weekend and noticed they had finally gone in and changed the wording on the net access to no longer be blatantly false. This was after five years of it being the same. It's what I cited in my dispute and Amex credited my account for the full amount.

Details on that wording of that policy?

MAVIC, that's a great idea. I paid with my gold Amex card. Looking into it now.

I can't seem to find much on their site. A buddy of mine went on a scuba trip with his disabled brother in law. The guys running the boat were ridiculing him. My friend paid with his amex card and filed a complaint. He was refunded for the whole trip.

I found this little blurb about it on their site:
Protect Purchases Against No-Return Policies

Perhaps you have experienced this: you purchase a pair of shoes to go with your new blue suit, but you forget to bring the suit with you. When you get home you discover that they are an entirely different shade of blue. Unfortunately, the store policy allows only exchanges and store credits, not returns. What do you do now?

• If you shop with a credit card that offers return protection, you can receive reimbursement for the purchase price even if the store of origin has a no-return policy.
• Return protection programs typically involve a limit on the amount per item and an annual limit for the cardholder. Other qualifications such as the condition of the purchased item and the existence of any return/satisfaction guarantee programs at the store may apply.

My card is similar to this one: https://www124.americanexpress.com/cards...e.benefits

Return Protection10

If you try to return a designated item within 90 days from the date of purchase and the merchant won't take it back, American Express will refund the purchase, up to $300 per item.

There's a general "satisfaction guarantee" that I don't see listed, but my card has it. (I actually can't find my card on the site.)

I have had the Canon and an Olympus. Pretty happy with my Sony right now. I would look close at the Sony next to the SD630.
