film negative scanner - sprockets?

Anyone have a decent film scanner that can scan sprockets (without a bunch of workarounds)?

daughter and i are going analog and developing film (dusting off some old skills!)

i've been putting some 35mm into 120 cameras and exposing sprockets, but scanning the full frame sprockets (which were exposed) is a hassle on my Epson V370. The scanner is admittedly on the low price point of things. It does an ok job, but is limited in capabilities (i.e. sprockets). Thx!

Its not hard to scan sprockets but you do need an image capture area large enough to grab them. You might need to improvise with your film holder.

was thinking that - may need to cobble a film holder out of corrugated, good plan.

thats actually pretty common for high end scanners. seems like scanner tech peaked about 10-15 years ago. no joke.

imo, the only thing that might be better than the scanner i linked to would be a drum scanner.
