I've never been impressed by Whole Foods. I need to buy Gluten Free and, WF turns GF shopping into an ordeal by making shoppers traipse ALL OVER the store in search of GF rather than "grouping" GF items together. It's MUCH easier for me to shop elsewhere.

Hi everyone,
There is a Whole Foods on the way home from Little M's daycare center. I stop there on occasion for basic necessities, i.e. Milk, eggs, etc. Dollar for dollar, Whole Foods is actually _less_ expensive_ for many things than the local supermarket. That's not factoring a 10% discount on some items for members of Amazon Prime.
Milk is a good example. Normal price for a half gallon organic whole milk is $3.49. The local supermarket can't touch that price normally. Occasionally, they'll offer the same or similar milk for $3.99 on sale. Considering we go through whole milk pretty quickly, it makes sense for em to stop on the way home for it and grab other items while I'm in the store.
We also use Prime Now from Amazon/Whole Foods. Overall, we like it quite a bit. Prices are pretty much about the same as the local supermarket for most things. They pack bags nicely and delivery is solid. Truth to say, we've used it more than Peapod as of late.
Unfortunately, my beef with the Whole Foods by me is the store itself. The aisles are tight and the store feels dirtier than our local supermarkets. Not dirty food but the floors could use a good sweeping and mopping. Boxes are stocked, blocking the racks. Not boxes of food for you to purchase but cartons with items that need to be sorted and placed on the shelves.
That, and, unfortunately, the general clientele tends to be pushy and obnoxious with an unjustified sense of entitlement. On Friday, I stopped at Whole Foods on the way to getting Little M from daycare and I was looking at an item in the canned food section and a woman stepped in front of me, grabbed an item from the rack and walked away. No excuse me. Not a word. Nearly grabbed a can Annie's Bernie O's and threw it at her.
