Hi guys,
I need to install Powerpoint for PC because a graphics creation service I use makes all their animation stuff on that platform.
I learned about Crossover 18, which installs PC apps on the Mac desktop, no virtualizer (Parallels, etc.) needed. It lists Powerpoint 2013 as the best option on their system. 2016 and Office 365 don't work as well.
Powerpoint 2013 is no longer downloadable, and to get it I need to buy it used, on a disk. Here's the rub — I no longer have an optical drive, long ago having swapped it out for a second HD.
So, can I chain another MBP to mine and run the Powerpoint installer from the other Mac?
I'm Googling for answers on that but obviously not using the right search terms. Any help is appreciated.
