My wife and daughter have bought a number of items on there. They tried selling a couple of items but didn't have any luck.

The items they got were accurately described. And they thought they got a pretty good deal.

10% of the list price when a sale is made. Not sure if that adjusts if you accept a lower offer. And you could, in theory, treat it like Craigslist and only do local sales and only accept cash in person.
