SMR doesn't play nice with NAS or DVRs...

It’s not surprising that the 4TB drive would be slightly slower than a 12TB drive, but the ZFS performance truly is abysmal. As a FreeNAS user, I’d be upset at spending a premium for a red drive, only to have such poor performance. Shame on them.
