Instacart Update: Some users entice with large tip then change to $0 after delivery

Shipt offers a prompt to tip only after the delivery.

This is obviously a disgusting practice, but does it really warrant a Congressional inquiry?

I added a tip to my newspaper bill because the delivery person brought the paper to my porch instead of throwing it on the sidewalk. I could always tell when there was a sub because I would have to go looking for the morning paper.

Apparently, I have a new delivery person because the paper can be just about anywhere in the yard, even in the street one morning. I called the paper and asked to remove the tip, explaining why.

Found the paper on the porch beside the front door and thought maybe this person had gotten the message, but that was a one time occurence. Last couple of days it is back on the sidewalk - but on the other sidewalk (corner lot). I have not reinstated the tip.

They have already changed their policy. You have 1 day to change your tip, and if you lower it, you have to give a reason. People lowering or removing tips frequently will get their account closed.
