Your Mac must have an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, or Xeon processor to run Lion.

Core Duos won't run Lion.

Core 2 Duos will run Lion.

People need to get their facts straight.

Lion will be 32 bit and 64 bit, but will require the Core 2 Duos for the 32 bit.

Which is likely why there's the one-year grace period, so to speak, regarding MobileMe and its services (usable through 30 June 2012, IIRC). Right now I'm wondering what I'm going to do about the three dozen web pages I host via MobileMe. I kind of saw this writing on the wall when iWeb didn't get an update with iLife '11, but held out hope that it was just due to an awaited maintenance thing with revisions to MobileMe. Hopefully Apple'll make that crystal clear soon; in the meantime, I'll have to start working on a contingency plan.
I just (last month) finished my iWeb-site and have it hosted with MobileMe. Bugger.
I have no iDevice, except a water damaged 1st Gen Touch and a couple of old iPods. I don't give a rats arse about Touches or Pads or iPissing Contests.
