Is this a Norton’s sales pitch?

I was zipping along downloading recipes till one one an Apple logo with note “you iPad is infected. You must immediately clean(or some word like that) then a buy Norton’s for 49.95 a year popped up before you could rid yourself of viruses.

It was the Apple logo that grabbed me. Is this a phish?

sam, whatever site you were d/l from, do not visit in again!
Being over suspicious & OCD, I would remove any unknown cookies and
clear the browser cache too.
