Just breathtaking.

The great 30 mins at the end made up for the 3 hours of boring sht in the beginning. Rebroadcast tonight on prime time.

Some highlights for me:

1800+ drones making the globe. NICE!

Baseball legend Sadaharu Oh and 2009 World Series MVP Hideki Matsui accompanying the torch for a part of the way. Look at Sadaharu's eyes when the flame was passed. So emotional.

And that pictogram "dance?" sequence was my #1 highlight of the ceremony. I was LOL'ing throughout the whole thing. LOVE.

Honorable mention goes to the moment the secret surprise final torchbearer was shown on screen. (tu)
