To stand with the world in strongly condemning Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the works of Pink Floyd, from 1987 onwards, and all of David Gilmour's solo recordings are being removed from all digital music providers in Russia and Belarus from today.

I vote "dumb," as it's not achieving any positive outcome, by any measure.

I say good because it's something they could do to demonstrate solidarity. Hopefully it's just temporary.

They should embargo everything except "The Wall." Similarly for iconic anti-establishment songs of other artists.

In books, they can have all the copies of Animal Farm and 1984 they want.

Beware meaningless tropes!

Send your spare bucks to Unitarian Relief or some other such folk who'll really honestly get the $$$ where it needs to get to where it's got
