Meanwhile, in South Dakota…
#1
The South Dakota Democratic Party agrees with Department of Public Safety Secretary Craig Price that [Republican] Attorney General Jason Ravnsborg is “unfit” to continue serving in his position.

In a letter sent to Speaker Spencer Gosch and chairman of the committee in charge of putting together an impeachment report on Wednesday, Price said Ravnsborg’s text messages reflected “viewpoints and character not in keeping with the high standards expected of the attorney general.”

Price’s letter says a political consultant told Ravnsborg by text message: “Well, at least the guy was a Democrat.” The text message was sent on Sept. 14, 2020, two days after Ravnsborg was involved in a crash that killed Joe Boever.

You may remember that this poor guy came through the windshield of Ravnsborg’s car one night, and the latter kept on driving. Ravnsborg only reported it the next day (after he sobered up, I would guess), saying he thought maybe he hit a deer.

The “deer”s eyeglasses were later found on the floor of Ravnsborg’s car. Well, at least the deer was a Democrat.

This is the Attorney General of the great state of South Dakota. Un-frickin-believable.

DeathSantis is likely already offering him a position in Florida with a state car.

Craig Price's letter is a master class in evidentiary-based summation. And now it's public.

An aside about South Dakota government…

”The great American tax haven: why the super-rich love South Dakota
… the state is fast becoming the most profitable place for the mega-wealthy to park their billions.”

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2019/n...trust-laws

“The South Dakota trust industry is unique in the high level of cooperation among the legislature, regulators, and the business community to grow the industry.”

…and there’s also Kristi Noem…
