I've used my new spiralizer twice.

And I've cut myself twice. Smile Both times just assembling the thing. I'll get used to it. Zoodles were great a couple evenings ago. Tonight, I'm trying for sweet potato curly fries; non-bleeding fingers crossed. Wish me luck!

sweet potato fries are the perfect accompaniment to good BBQ. That and not overly dressed coleslaw with a wee bit of horseradish in the dressing.

My mom and step-dad cut the amount of pasta they ate in half and supplemented with veggies and lost a lot of weight in a year.

You’ve used yours once more than we ever did. Try keeping it assembled and just rinsing the whole thing off. (Or wear chainmail gloves when you tinker with it. )

I've always though about those gloves, or the kevlar butcher's/shellfish harvester gloves.

Mandolines make me a little queesy.

My mandolin slicer has a food holder that saves your fingers - I can't afford to lose any.

After researching mandolines awhile back, I can see why. A huge chunk of the reviews described emergency room visits. Still, I ended up buying one along with some of those gloves, promising myself that I will always be careful.
