how to stop Music auto-launch
#1
which I'd prefer it wouldn't as the media is on networked drives, so I need to mount the drives first, for all the Music to be found.

Music is not:
in Users/Login items
~/Sys/Lib/LaunchDaemons
~/Sys/Lib/LaunchAgents
~/Liv/LaunchAgents
~/Lib/LaunchDaemons

any idea?

Just a thought, but it may be something as simple as on Startup, launch all apps that were active on shutdown.

Try closing Music before shutdown. That's the best I can do.

None of those folders contain login items.

Look in System Preferences > Users & Groups > Login Items. Remove the app from the list if it's there.

Control-click on the icon in the Dock and under the Options sub-menu, make sure that "Open at Login" is not checked.

Using a Bluetooth headset or speaker? Sometimes Bluetooth audio devices send start/stop commands that start iTunes or the Music app.

yes, but shut off when not in use.

I'm beginning to think it's Marvin Martians Illudium Pu36 Explosive Space Modulator.
