Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Officially Secures Early Season 3 Renewal
.....Paramount+ announced Tuesday that the sci-fi series has been officially renewed for Season 3. Additionally, Season 2 will premiere on Thursday, June 15; new episodes will stream weekly.
The streamer also revealed that the animated comedy Star Trek: Lower Decks has been renewed for a 10-episode fifth season. Season 4 will premiere this summer; an exact date has not yet been revealed. Plus, the animated children’s series Star Trek: Prodigy will return for Season 2 this winter.....

Curb Your Enthusiasm Poised to End With Season 12 at HBO?
.....Well, this is pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty… inevitable: The end appears to maybe-possibly be nigh for Curb Your Enthusiasm.
In a since-deleted tweet, Curb producer Jon Hayman pseudo-announced on Tuesday that the upcoming 12th season of HBO’s Larry David-fronted comedy will be the series’ swan song.
“Maybe you love the show. Maybe you hate the show. Maybe you don’t give a s–t,” Hayman wrote, alongside a behind-the-scenes photo. “In any event, shooting the last scene of the last episode of the final season.”
HBO has not yet commented on Hayman’s tweet.......

Black Panther‘s Ryan Coogler is developing a “diverse” reboot of the classic sci-fi drama The X-Files, original series creator Chris Carter said in a recent Canadian podcast.
Carter mentioned the new project in the March 27 edition of On the Coast With Gloria Macarenko, during a segment that celebrated the 30th anniversary of the show (which shot its first five seasons in Vancouver before moving production to California).
“I just spoke to a young man, Ryan Coogler, who is going to remount The X-Files with a diverse cast,” Carter said. “So he’s got his work cut out for him, because we covered so much territory.”......
