I too am having the same problem. Burn a CD with ITunes, can see the metadata just fine in ITunes on the machine it was created on. Also works in both of my vehicles. If I take it to another machine with ITunes, all I see is track names.
I then open up one of my CD burning apps, disconnect the computer from the network and have it build the playlist. The playlist is created exactly as it should be.
It appears that if the original instance of ITunes is putting some sort of checksum on the disc.
Thoughts please.
