I need to buy several ipod Touches. Save Me!

It's not me it is my wife and she needs two "iPod Touch 7th generation" to use with some POS system at her work and no nothing else will work. Anyone?!

Will only those specific iPods work because of needing to fit in a specific printer sled?

Most of the systems I am familiar with also accepted the same vintage iPhones…

We have two, ancient, iPod Touches, like v. 2 & 3. One was totally dead at least check, the other still powered up.....

but, as Cary noted, if similar vintage iPhones work, we do have an iPhone 5s that's in much better shape than the older 'Pods.

Check it out, if it'll work, one down one to go.

Yeah it is some kind of mass charging block they are connected to. Updating the system will be as painful as peeling skin off your face in sheets. Or so I am told.

Are batteries still sold for those things?
