Scouts Honor
#1
I just did a search, and Newt did mention it a few weeks ago. Just finished watching the doc Scouts Honor: The Secret Files Of The Boy Scouts Of America. As with a lot of these types of documentaries, it's incredible troubling. But I think it was very well done and very compelling. Recommended if you're at all interested in the subject matter.

Now I'm going to have to cleanse my mind with some brainless YouTube viewing.

My problem with documentaries like this is admitting that what they cover is appalling/disturbing/whatever you want to call it, but the feeling of helplessness about being able to DO anything about it.

I once subscribed to a little monthly magazine called Washington Monthly that had several stories a month about "terrible things" and finally stopped subscribing because now that I know about "that" I am upset but cannot do anything about it.

my youngest is stuck on 1st/4th amendment violation videos... infuriating. Will never effect me as a middle aged white man in upper middle class suburbia, but ugh.
