Geezer Query - Who are most distant past sports legends you've actually seen play in the flesh?

Saddest celebrity sighting - I caught a glimpse of Gary Coleman when he was working as a security guard at Fox Hills Mall in Culver City.

My man was putting in work to pay the bills. I applauded him for it.
Sure, but the path there, not a joyride.

Whoever played baseball, basketball, boxed and football in the 60's, I saw 'em.

I don't think even Bo Jackson did all of those sports!
Obligatory:

Bo knows timing: that ad aired for the first time immediately after the first inning of the 1989 All-Star Game, which of course included his monster lead-off home run.

Funny how quickly "sports" and "in the flesh" cease to have any meaning. :RollingEyesSmiley5:

Quite jealous of a lot of these lists... I grew up in a small town that was many hundreds of miles away from any professional sports team (unless you count Alabama football, of course). Not many opportunities to see pretty much any of those names while they were still active.
