Came up with a drink idea this month, and have been enjoying it. Decided to share.
One shot of Bunratty Meade* and one shot of Bunratty Irish Whiskey. On ice (preferably a large block) at a squeeze of lime. Stir.
I've named it "Pot o'Gold"
*Bunratty apparently sells real Mead, but here in Texas, all I have seen is their "MEADE" which is listed as white wine with honey and infused with herbs. It's delicious, but a little sweet for me. I recently watched mead drinker go on a rant that it's NOT REAL MEAD!!! Then he tried it and admitted it was really good.
I've also made it with Meade and Jameson Orange Irish Whiskey. It's also delicious.
