There is a YouTube channel that I enjoy watching called WristWatchRevival that details the disassembly, cleaning, repair, and reassembly and verification of various high-end watches. I find watching it to be therapeutic.

Fascinating! I watched a few minutes of the author taking apart an 'automatic' (self-winding) wristwatch. Sent to grandkids; maybe one of them will be interested.

WOW!

I just watched his restoration video of an Explorer exposed to seawater.

The owner must have left the crown unscrewed.

The video is two years old, so I wonder if the guy is still in business.

I've got a watch I'd like to have restored.

This guy is also a great presenter.

I saw that he had a lot of videos, but didn't note that he posted recently.

An email was sent, though the sight says it can take a week or more to reply.

I'd love to get my Watch refurbished, more likely than restored.

But I'm more than a little wary of what it might cost.


As I mentioned, this guy is a great presenter.

No blather, very few misspoken words, and almost zero, if not zero, repeating or halting phrases.

I've only watched on video, but there will be more.
