We don't have a Ring doorbell, but a week or so ago I got a notification from our Tapo camera of someone at the front step. I figured it was Amazon, so went out a few minutes later and there was no package anywhere. So I checked the recording and it was some big bird that flew out of the bush right in front of the camera. We all got a laugh out of it. That's the first time that's happened.

What does the video show? We had a spider crawl across the lens once and I think it said it was a person. Otherwise, it’s been pretty good about figuring it out.

….if there is a paper-bag on fire…..don’t step on to put it out……oldest trick in the book…..

What I want to know is how it will pick up motion of a CAR OR TRUCK DRIVING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET but Amazon, FedEx, or UPS and sometimes the post office can deliver packages on the front porch like Ninjas without being detected?
Do they have a magic device that blocks the Wifi or something?

My camera must have recognized the eyeballs.
