This comment does not make sense to me. His comments are VERY specifically about governmental policies of Israel.  Right there in black and white.  Not about all Israelis, or certainly not about all people who are Jewish. 
You have to be willfully blind to assign an anti-Semitic motive to everyone who criticizes the policies of the government of Israel.

But he does not differentiate neti from Israel govt or Israelis in what I read.
neti is one person.  He does not represent the whole gov't of Israel any more than the fat felon does the US.

I'm not worried about whether he'll defend NYC Jews.
I'm concerned that he hasn't differentiated, yet, between Israel gov't and neti.
