End of an era - all my Scalextric is starting to be listed on eBay

I miss mine, was the one game along side Subbuteo that I always went back to, my collection goes back to Christmas '72 Le Mans set, too heavy to ship over here I think. Been thinking of getting a set for my lad, was surprised at how expensive it is, gonna wait till he is a bit older as he is rather hard on stuff, lol.

I still have my Revell Daytona High Bank Curve set from Sears that I got back in late 60's or early 70's.

Man, I used to have tracks like that. I wish my parents didn't chuck most of my toys now that I have two little ones.. :-( We used to hold the cars up and burn the rubber off of the rear wheels.. :-D
