How do I transfer a lot of songs to iTunes without making duplicates?
#1
I want to transfer a couple of hundred songs from one computer's iTunes library to one of my older computers (I am turning it in a jukebox basically) without making a bunch of duplicates. I looked at the date modified but for some reason 90% of the folders say I modified them on 4/30. I don't want to copy over the whole iTunes library because I have different playlists and content on each computer.

Is there a way? Or at least if I add to library the whole thing, how can I batch delete duplicates. If you click on show duplicates, I would need to delete every other song and I don't want to manually go through the whole the big list. Does this even make sense? Ha!

Thanks...

Drag into iTunes, show duplicates, sort by date added descending. That will give you everything that's a duplicate that was added today. If you don't have the date added column visible, go to the View menu and select View Options. Then check the box for Date Added.
