Do you calibrate? ALL monitors need calibration. Yes, the Dell will be further from the original settings but that hardly matters.

I have the previous version and I'm very happy with the color. If there's a difference, you'd have to do a side-by-side comparison because they're very close.

Does a mini drive one of these without a hiccup?

I'd like to have a mini and a 24ish" screen just for bit-torrent my HD TV shows. Transmission is either a memory or CPU hog and my MDD doesn't like running EyeTV and Transmisson at the same time.

bought mine for $969, which was a deal

i could get one of those next to a 20" imac, or a 24" imac next to one of my old 2001FPs... not sure what to doooo...

I have a dp 2.5 g5 right now and it has an ADC port. If I get a Mac Pro in the next few months I would need an adapter to use my 23 ADC. I am not too thrilled about it and maybe it is time to get either 2 24" dells or one 30".
