Are these for sale in the used market yet? I didn't find any on ebay motors.

NO... I don't even think they hit the new car showroom yet. My mom has owned chryslers since 1987 and just got rid of her 3rd Sebring Convertible. They wanted her to order the new one and extend her lease without even knowing what the new model looked like. She ended up getting a Pontiac G6 convertible and loves it.

I think if Chrysler showed the photos before they started taking orders she might of ordered it. However, she doesn't regret her decision.

Anyone drive the new sebring convertible? Any good?

Interesting, I had seen the ads for awhile on tv and assumed they were already out and available. One odd thing I noticed was that the horse power has been DECREASED which seems odd. At least it is decreased on the bottow two models, and slightly increased for the upper end model.

Just FYI, the Sebring is one of consumer reports' "used cars to avoid". My daughter also informed me that it's an "old man's car" (though personally I think these stereotypes [like chick car] are idiotic).

Heh, well I'm aware it isn't necessarily the best car on the road BUT it is the only true four seat convertible in it's price range. Some will argue there are others but it is really the only car in it's class. I have the 2001 model and to move to another brand would mean the audio or volvo which are both vastly more expensive. So I endure the shortcomings of the chrysler to enjoy the convertible that can seat four. :-)

From what I'm told, get the 6 speed automatic transmission. I've driven a hardtop with it, and it's a good choice. I was a little disappointed with the handling, though.

My late wife and I rented one in Kuaii (or however the hell it's spelled) back in '00 and it was terrific. We could see everything and carry our luggage and other stuff very easily. I'd imagine the newer ones are even better.

Well, there is the Mustang (a little more cramped than the Sebring) and the VW (though severe reliabiilty issues there), the Solara (uuuuugly!) and my choice (a used BMW with low miles). However, IMHO any convertible is better than no convertible!!

My ride (wheeee!!):

Michael Scott (Steve Carell on The Office) drives a Sebring convertible.

Andy once referred to it as "a fine... motor carriage"

Dwight put the top down in 50 degree weather and called it "a ridiculous
choice for this climate".

Apparently you can find Blue Blast power drink and many Filet-O-Fish wrappers
in it (from over several months according to Michael)

Writer B.J. Novak (Ryan) explains that Michael Scott drives a Sebring because
it's the most ostentatious car he can afford, opting for a convertible even though
the climate in Scranton is cool even in the summer.

Turn the freaking HEATER on.

I've had the top down on Michigan Ave in Chicago during a snowstorm.

WIMPS (but we all KNOW Dwight is a wimp)
