I got so used to the American versions of the first Beatle albums that is throws me when I listen to them in the British version CDs. And, songs like "It's Only Love" from Rubber Soul are not even on the British CDs, if I recall correctly.

I put my own version of Yesterday and Today together. I know it was just a commercial decision that put that album together, but I really like it. I suppose the memories associated with it have something to do with that. Hey, you like what you like.

D'oh!
I read this and thought you meant the iTunes Store.
I was thinking, "Did I miss an announcement?"

I was raised on the American versions of the albums.. so yea, when I hear the Brit. versions (or when I hear an early cut on a mono system) it always turns my ear

I've thought about doing that with Rubber Soul, among others.

Blasphemy! The british releases are the only true beatles albums. Purge the USversions from your memory!
