I am reading articles on both (some new articles, some older) and was wondering if these are the same topic.
Is "Draft N" wireless the same as "N"?

The wireless-n standard isn't finalized.
All wireless-n products are currently based on draft specifications. In the next few months there will be draft-n certifications popping up, which will indicate a minimal level of interoperability between products from different manufacturers. As it stands, there is no guaranty that products from different manufacturers will work together and even with the certifications its doubtful that a wide variety of pre-n devices will work well together.
