The rebate offer is running out soon. Or what other cam would you have bought?
Anyone enjoying their new cheap Pentax K100D SLR?

Well I like my K10D very much. Bought it just a few days before they put a rebate on it for the first time.
The users at dpreview.com seem to like it: 4.5 stars which is more favorable than the Canon Rebel XTi owners rate theirs. Nikon D40 & D40X owners like their cameras as much as the Pentax folks do.

My Aunt bought one and I think that it is an incredible bargain. The image quality is as good as my K10D, which I also think is a serious bargain.

Here's a pic wowzer (it's big). Taken with a D70 somewhere on Mount Diablo, in Walnut Creek, CA.

Wasn't Pentax bought out by someone? Didn't think the brand existed anymore.

Nice shots guys. Where did you take those pics, Don Kiyoti? It feels like it's really in the middle of no where.
Vision, what lens did you use there? It's got a well isolated background and appears quite sharp. If you want to view some of mine, here is my link: http://ebem.org/yeh/Best_Pictures/nonfamily/ The later pictures look better as my technique improves a bit.

Wowzer,
The tire shop is in South Tucson. I think it is still operating. The Big Cow is also in Tucson in an area where there are a lot of salvage yards. Some deal in airplanes from the nearby boneyard. I love salvage yards and otherwise decrepit stuff. |
