How definitive can you be about something so subjective? You can only judge what's lousy to your ears. To the degree that others agree with you, so be it. That's more tribal than anything else. I know you're a smart guy with a lot of depth because we're forum mates. But it's fun to nip at your heels and be bothersome. :-)

How about tasting at least "one" of the alleged turds first. I don't believe you have. Then once you taste that one, you can then extrapolate that information across the rest of the songs, then across the bow of an entire industry, because your ability to discern turdness is so sophisticated and complete, you can probably judge future turdness "before" the songs are even recorded or perhaps even germinated. Is that it?
