She says that she wants to dispose of the Hummer for environmental reasons. It would be better if she had it crushed or mounted on the wall or melted down and turned into a Prius.

[quote davester]What a ridiculous vehicle. Since she's selling for a green cause, I'd expect the buyer to take a sledgehammer to the thing after the sale is completed.
Exactly. I always wanted to know what Arianna Huffington did with her Navigator after she went "Green" and made that anti-SUV commercial. If she sold/donated it, she did nothing for the environment or for weaning the US off of foreign oil.

A Prius? maybe 5, but just one would leave a lot of metal left over.

> dismissing something that you neither have the desire or inclination to listen to, much less > qualify as reviewer for? Why do you think that I lack the qualification to judge what's lousy, doctored "music"...? How "educated" does my ear have to be, exactly? How definitive can you be about something so subjective? You can only judge what's lousy to your ears. To the degree that others agree with you, so be it. That's more tribal than anything else. I know you're a smart guy with a lot of depth because we're forum mates. But it's fun to nip at your heels and be bothersome. :-)

One doesn't need to taste every turd to know that it's not for eating, nor do we all have to experience eating turds to know that turd-eating is not a good habit. > That's more tribal than anything else. ...What tribe thrives by eating turds? > it's fun to nip at your heels and be bothersome. THAT's why you were pretending that goatse-- FERgie -- is an edible turd? (Follow the metaphor.)

THAT's why you were pretending that goatse-- FERgie -- is an edible turd? (Follow the metaphor.) How about tasting at least "one" of the alleged turds first. I don't believe you have. Then once you taste that one, you can then extrapolate that information across the rest of the songs, then across the bow of an entire industry, because your ability to discern turdness is so sophisticated and complete, you can probably judge future turdness "before" the songs are even recorded or perhaps even germinated. Is that it?

There are some things that a person should not admit to putting in his or her mouth.

There are some things that a person should not admit to putting in his or her mouth. Hey, I was riffin' off of your analogy. You could've said "rotten eggs."
