Third-party firmware for my Linksys WRT54g router

I have an extra Linksys router (v2) that I want to flash with the newest DD-WRT firmware. Their download page is very confusing to me. Can someone direct me to the version I should use?

v24 looks to be right around the corner but there are still many bugs to be worked out. i'm running it wihtout a problem but the additional features i'm interested in don't work either
