Mac Pro replaces my QS '01, MB Pro replaces the wife's G4 1.25 PowerBook.

Ah, the speed, the RAM, Tiger......GRRRRRRREAT!!!

Time to part out the QS and figure out what to do the 'Book.

if the 'book works, I'll trade you a pristine G3 900Mhz 12" iBook that Mrs. Buzz didn't get much use out of, since it took until just a couple of weeks ago for her windoze only corporate VPN to get morphed into an internet based extranet finally accessible by other machines (like Macs)... so now she wants a MBA to replace the aging, beat-to-shreds Compaq, and aging, though near virgin iBook.

That's the problem with her G4. Combo drive is VERY finicky, battery life is crap, it has a weird intermittent screen flicker, AND a "mystery" dent has shown up at the FW 800 port.
