How to get a 3-in. CD out of Mac Mini?

My youngest son pushed a 3-inch CD into our Mac Mini. It's not visible from the front. If I take apart the Mini, will it be easier to remove or will it also require taking the optical drive out?

The CD/DVD drive is self-contained, so I doubt it will do you any good to pull the mini apart.

OWC (macsales.com) has a video how-to open it if you feel the need.
