Did you at least put in the eBay listing "condition unknown"?
Why would anyone buy that if you couldn't guarantee it works.

I'll admit that we Mac people are fanatics, but we won't buy everything for sale just because it has an Apple logo.

I've done several of these. I always put - "found" "I have no idea if it works" "As is" "What you see is what you get",etc.

You would be amazed what people pay for stuff just because it has an apple logo on it.
