Uhoh! iPhone froze twice in a row

I was editing an address book entry on my iPhone this morning and it froze. I could use the home button to get into different apps, but the screen became completely unresponsive in the phone app (other than being able to scroll up and down (but not select) my contacts). I restarted it and it worked fine for 5 minutes then it happened again. Anybody else had this happen?

mine has done it. i am thinking about returning it.

Mine's been doing it. It used to seem it only froze when it was checking for email, but now it is happening more and for no apparent reason. One day it was totally frozen, all I could do was power it off (which ended up solving the problem as it happened). I've got AppleCare so I am wondering if it is time to inquire about this. I'm interested to find out that it isn't just this one.

Try typing in JMJ when you open the phone.

It sometimes worked for us in schoolwork since the the good Sisters of Providence promised that any paper turned in without it was an automatic fail.
