What Software for the Job?
#1
Hi, I want to record a lecture for an audience without me actually being there. I will include some footage of me speaking (possibly using Photo Booth) and Keynote files which will include slides but also QT movies. I am hoping to burn this into a DVD so someone can simply put it in a player and press play. What software should I use to create this type of presentation? Is Snapz Pro X a viable tool? TIA.

A multimedia presentation, in other words?

I would personally use AfterEffects, but that's just because it's what I know.

You need

- a camcorder on a tripod ("I will include some footage of me speaking")
- Keynote (can export a presentation as QuickTime)

...and maybe

- ScreenFlow http://www.varasoftware.com/products/screenflow/

- iMovie
- iDVD
