Double emails--Arrrgh

Why do I receive double emails to my mobile me account or imap gmail account. When I send myself an email from any pop account, I get 2 copies in my mobile me or gmail account. Happens every time. what's going on?

Sorry, I don't know what could cause it, but it sounds like something is messed up with whatever app you're sending the mail from.

Do you have "BCC myself on email" checked?

You're gonna see one on Mail.app and Gmail's website, of course.

Carefully look at your settings, forwarding settings, copy message to settings and such.

I used to have that problem; no longer, though, and I don't remember the fix.
