Kevin Rose is usually dead-on with these things.

So either the LCD screen is bowed (not probable or practical) or there is a measurable gap between the LCD & the bowed protective cover. Is OLED flexible?

Sound like a lot of glare, and unnecessary distortions. Not to mention added scratch vulnerability.

and boom goes the dynamite.

It could be a flat display under curved plastic.

If the face plate is curved, I would think that Apple would make it optically flat/clear. It would be very bad form and unlike Apple to have distortion "built-in", even for a nano.

All iPods have scratch vulnerability, but a decent window cover will keep it nice.

I remember Kevin Rose saying that the iPhone would swivel and have two batteries...one for each half so that the iPod battery and the phone battery were separate. He also said that it would have a full keyboard...he was dead on with that one...not.
