Huge selling point for Dell laptop (and other Windows computers) I had never considered

I was flipping past QVC on the TV and they were selling these butt-ugly Dell laptops in weird colors and proclaimed a big selling-point I had never thought about. This is it: The Intel dual chip is so powerful, that you can actually run virus detection software in the background while you are watching a movie.

If Dell is so great, why did the computer of the contractor who's building my parents' house "crash" after they contracted a virus from an email message from "FedEx?"

If that's such a great selling point - imagine what you could do with your computer if you weren't having to run virus detection in the background!

Well, my PC Tools Spyware runs in the background of my Toshiba and other PCs I have it on...no problem and my PCs are not really power houses. That program is constantly checking for viruses and spyware.
