Everything fits so perfectly in that bag, and it's so well thought out. There's a handy waterproof cover built right in. It's a bit pricey, but worth every penny imo.
Just bought my first slice of glass: 50mm f1.8

It's a sickness so ye be warned.
Look at Wowzer, he started off with a D50 and now the guy has a lens empire. ;-) D50 is a good camera to have, lets you AF with the pin motor lenses. The D40/D40X/D60 don't have the pin motor. The temptation might be to upgrade bodies but I typically fin lens upgrades bring more joy into the experience.

I'm holding out for a 50/1.4 here. Soon, it will be sooooon...

The AF motor is why I went with the D50.
I can't wait for the 50mm, then I've gotta get a remote and a trip up to the mountains for some pictures of the stars.

Hey, I resemble that remark! The real problem is not the 50mm f1.8...that's a ~$100 wonder lens...fun, fast, and quick AF. The real slippery slope is when you buy the Nikon 80-200 AF-D (the 2 ring zoom). That lens will knock your socks off. I know thats when my lens lust really took hold. What I am looking for now a Cokin filter system so that I can use a CP and ND filter with my lens collection...maybe get the Sigma 150-500 OS HSM. My inventory right now is: D50 D300 Sigma 18-200 DC Nikon 18-55 VR (got it with warranty for $120) Sigma 10-20 HSM EX Tamron 28-75 (my favorite all around lens) Nikon 50mm f1.8 Nikon 50mm f1.4 Nikon 80-200 AF-D Tokina 100-300 f4.0 AIS Sigma 50-500 HSM RF Lensbaby 3G Nikkor 75-150 Series E AIS Nikon Flashgun SB-800 x 2 Nikon Flashgun SB-600 x 1 Kenko Pro 1.4 TC Tokina 100mm f2.8 macro + several lens filters Benro KS-2 Ballhead Mag-Alum Tripod (forgot brand) Panosaurus 2 Lowepro bags Then of course, my sister saw the shots I was taking of my kids, so she wanted a camera...she bought a D40x with a Nikon 18-200 VR. Edit: Did I forget to say lens lust is BAD???!!!

But then wowzer really knows how to hunt up good bargains. I'll leave you all to your lens lust. I make do with very little in comparison. I do really enjoy the 50mm 1.8. But my workhorse lenses are the kit 18-135, a Tamron 17-50 2.8, another kit 18-70, and an inexpensive Sigma 70-300. If I can't shoot it with those, then it doesn't get shot. Or gets shot marginally. But then I can swing Photoshop like an ax. Like Ray Charles said, "I'm gon' make it do what it do."
You're gonna love the 50 chip.
