Thumb Drive Weirdness
#1
I have a Kingston 2 GB ThumbDrive that I am using to display photos in a digital frame. I tried to load photos from my MacMini but after about 95 photos it says the disk is full. I can add a few more if I place them in a separate folder on the drive but then the digital frame won’t include them automatically. The ThumbDrive is formatted FAT16 so I tried to load the photos from my Dell laptop and no problem - it can take all the photos.

I had the same problem with a second Kingston ThumbDrive that also was fine in the Dell. Would this be due to the way Mac’s handle FAT16 and should I reformat the ThumbDrives to FAT 32? The Mini is running Tiger.

Thanks!

dunno if this is related, but the other day a buddy took my Mac'd thumb to give me a couple shots from his Winders. Wouldn't do it. He gave me his thumb with the photos and my Mac took them fine.
