I was finding these tests extremely informative until the XBench results, which contain numbers that just don't make sense. I'm wondering if anyone here (maybe OWC Jamie or Larry) can shed some light.
According to these results adding ram from 3GB to 4GB slightly reduced performance for both the Unibody 2.4 and white 2.4. Huh?
Also, the white 2.4, which outperformed the Unibody in the "Stress Test", not only falls behind in XBench but does so by a HUGE margin. Ok, so this could be due to XBench testing something very different than the Stress Test, but....
Then I noticed that the Core (1) Duo 1.83 with 2GB ram and 2MB L2 cache has a *FAR* better result than the Core2Duo 2.4 with 4GB ram and 3MB L2. So, something must be wrong here, right?
