One could safely assume that the Office of the President Elect has constituted itself as a 'shadow government'. They seem to be happily communicating 'policy' before they legally have the ability to make policy. It's kind of off-pissing.

What would you have them do? The present guy threw in the towel just about the time Fanny and Freddy croaked and has since been hiding in a corner waiting to go home.

Having a president-elect offering solutions-to-come is a damn site better than letting people feel that we are plummeting off a cliff in a driver-less bus, which is certainly the impression the current administration has given.

Speaking as a conservative Floridian, Jeb is a jerk.

1. Terry Schiavo case - He had no right to interject government into a private (and sad) family matter. Schiavo's parents had a loud mouth, squeaky wheel lawyer that kept pushing the case beyond lower court decisions that favored the husband.

2. Education: Jeb Bush did more to destroy the Florida university system than you can imagine. He and his Republican band of brothers in the FL legislature, disbanded the Florida Board of Regents who fairly controlled tuition, research funding and other matters. The people of Florida overwhelmingly voted a Constitutional referendum to re-establish the BoR. Against the will of the people Jeb tried to disband the board again and pushed the legislature to weaken the new structure so that it is a shadow of its former self.

3. Prior to his election the Legislature set aside a pristine area as an envrionmental conserve. The land lies along a vital tributary. Good ole Jeb, along with his Big business cronies, managed to undo the set aside and award the land to a mega huge cement factory that is now pouring tons of toxic runoff into the Ichetucknee River.

3. One of the first executive orders Jeb issued was to make farmers and orange grovers install meters on their irrigation pumps. No problem there, but the follow on was his attempt to make farms and groves in only selected counties pay a water tax on the water they drew from both ground and lake sources. This would have forced the farmers and growers from the selected counties to compete in the open market against those who did not have to pay the water tax! Give Jeb a F- in Econ 101.

The guy is totally incompetent.
