I'm really afraid that movie is going to be awful. The previews look like garbage. Really sucks for Will Eisner's legacy if it's as bad as it appears to be.

Especially since it's going for the "Sin City" look. The Spirit comics didn't look like this. I don't think The Spirit really lends itself to a movie treatment anyway. It's strength was the vignette-type stories.
